But they seem basically the same?How is this game not a bigger deal? A zillion cards, great art, lots of gameplay I'd never seen before. Making decks is crazy! I have a backlog of 100 things to try. because you can play cards from you whole deck whenever, a lot of the strategy is deckbuilding. it's Johnny paradise. But some of the cards with lots of skills have you makeing tough choices all game long.Needs more players. Come on people, encourage more players so I can fight them!. for free but optimization sux. I would really love to enjoy this game but I can't. I joined after a supposedly huge update that was geared towards fixing a lot of bugs but sadly it failed for me. This game is a solid thought and is really fun when it works however I can't get through the tutorials because they work maybe 20% of the time. I run 32GB of ram with a GTX 970 and it lags like crazy which is just wrong. To top it all off after every single match I have to restart the client because it opens about 10 tasks that makes the game unusable and it refuses to go away. I know I am not the only one with this problem and I sincerely hope the devs fix these game breaking issues because the game itself is wonderful. Like I said before I really want to like this game but I can't recommend it. Try it for yourself if you don't believe me and I hope you don't run into what befell me.. I started playing alteil a long time ago and its definitly a fun game however the steam client is garbage i recomend using the browser one as it laggs less. The game still has bugs to be ironed out for sure but its still the fun game that it has always been its definitly worth checking out and at least keeping an eye on for when they fix the bugs.. Been playing Alteil since about 2009 or 2010? I forgot. Pretty good game, you can see your whole deck from the start and place them down being mindful of your SP curve and such things. It takes practice. Dont worry about RP and just smash faces in.Alteil Steam client is currently a work in progress but is working. Just if that sluggish response when i try to open discord while having steam client active at same time be gone will be great. And tidalwave isn't core. :3 Basically Tidalwave abuse got banned unless you're playing noncore :p Thus it gets a 4\/5 from me.. Just play the web version.
